That is a Shame, Blackthorne was at the top of My List this year. I hope to see you at the gathering or perhaps another event. If you change your mind you should get ahold of me. As much as I hate to write this posting, I see that I really don't have a choice. It has me a great deal of thinking and because of the recession, I am calling off the Revel for this year. I am unwilling to charge people such a large gate fee, when I know so many are struggling to get by. And because of the costs, I would not be able to lower the fee and be able to break even. As it is, we took a loss on last year's Revel. But have no fear, the Blackthorne Revel will be back in 2010! The Munchkin theme will be carried over into 2010. More time to make sure your "Knee-pads of Allure" are ready! I am also taking the eventing season off. I will be day-tripping some of the local events.
