Due to someone at the McIver State park office being unable to write down a phone # clearly, one of the shelter areas has been resevered by someone else for the 5th of August.
The next available weekend for the 3 areas we want is August 25th-27th, which is the same weekend as Long & Short of It.
After that, the next weekend is the Labor day weekend, Sept 1st-3rd.
I'm unsure of what to do now, which is why I want your input.
Shall we just shuffle the date or find another park to have it in?

04/21I'm at a loss for sites.
If anyone knows of one that can handle 2-300 people, has electric / drinking water/ and perma-biffs, Please let me know!!

04/22Not to be a killjoy about Willy Mission, but they have been (in the past) more buttheads than McIver about working with SCA and non-sanctioned events...
I'll look around and see what I can find... Is there a way that we can possibly utilize the site that was used for Courtesan?

The only problem I see in that is the distance for some with the gas prices so high. -

04/22Mana, We should look into the boyscout camps and / or the YMCA camps. Also call Reservations Northwest... But those are my thoughts

04/22I don't want to use the Sea Dog site because it is Way too far for me to be able to pack everything that would be used for the Revel. -

04/22I know the WM park rangers can be a pain.
Darren & I are gonna pop don to Champoeg cause there Group area is completely open for the weekend we want to hold the Revel.
The group area at Champoeg also has 5 covered areas that would could use and is right next to the river.
